D-Akaki Hitsuji ni Yoru Bansankai

Alright now it's time for the first video review on Neon Darkness. First Up D's new Pvs for their new single Akaki Hitsuji ni Yoru Bansankai. I like the fact that they're are two PVs instead of one so you'll (hopefully) get two different videos that will give a different atmosphere to the same song.
Version A

I really like the fact that the PV has a story (maybe a bit strange) and takes place (or seems to) take place in more than one setting. I can't even count the amount of jrock videos I've seen that show the band playing in one room for the entire song.
I'm a stickler for details like lighting and color so I noticed right off that the color in the video was layered a greenish white spotlight, and red and green low lights in the background helped create a rich atmosphere that also complimented the band's outfits something I don't always see in visual kei videos.
What exactly is the story in the video? I don't know but Asagi did a good job playing a aggressive woman (countess, queen?)As she pushed the waited right out of the way coming in! lol. I guess Asagi's character is supposed to kill the vampire man and does so by drinking flammable beverage and blowing fire all over him(good special effects). Yeah.
All in all in was a good video and I enjoyed it more than alot others.
I really love the jumping part 4:21 at I wish it was longer than a few sections and the ending was weird/funny but wouldn't you smell the pen as it would more likely hold the scent?
and on to version B

Version B was what I kinda expected The usual the band plays in a room and the camera goes around them over and over. So there was no dramatic entrance but I did like how it opened with Asagi wearing the same red cloak from version A and all the close ups. They did change it up a little with shots of the band memebers dancing and jumping fastwording and rewinding of the film, zooming in and blurring out the background. That made it a less boring video to watch than (for me at least) plus it didnt hurt that it was a lively song.
In all I liked both videos and the cd single (get it at CD Japan!) and was pleasantly suprised so I hope this creativity will contiunue on in the future.
What did you think about the Videos?
