Topic for Podcast

Since no one sent a topic to be discussed on the podcast/blog I will go first, here is the first topic: How would you feel if Jrock/visual kei or any underground music became popular in the U.S.? You can leave your responses here on podbean.com (just send me a message) or send them in a email to me at neoninthedarkness@gmail.com, I may read some or all (due to time constraints) on the podcast and post some of your responses on the blog.

I look forward to getting your responses.

  1. Though the fanbases for Jrock, vkei, and underground music is increasing, becoming widely popular is low. Since we are such a large diversity of people it would be hard to appeal to the vast majority. But I think it is moving at a decent pace. Only thing we can do is continually request oversea bands we enjoy and support them in order to grab attention.

I've heard people whom went to Mindless Self Indulgence concerts where Dir En Grey were touring with them. They commented on how amazing Dir En Grey was and some even stated "I was dragged to this concert by a friend and then I saw this awesome band called Dir En Grey, they are fucking amazing !!"
